Richards Brothers Seafoods (Qld) Pty Ltd are agents for a number of Companies and have access to others. Consequently we carry a large range of food products and have access to other products.We supply quality Gulf of Carpentaria Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) from Karumba, North Queensland.

Local Barramundi.

The dates for the Gulf of Carpentaria closed season for barramundi each year are midday 7 October to midday 1 February (but possession on boats at sea will be allowed until midday 17 October).

Wild Caught Karumba Barramundi

Richards Brothers Seafoods (Qld) Pty Ltd sell Turtle Fisheries local Gulf of Carpentaria Barramundi fillet.

Claudine is the Master of fishing vessel, the M.V. Turtle holding a Skipper Grade Three and a Marine Engine Driver Grade Three and Unrestricted Coxswain. Claudine also is an authorised Maritime Communications Invigilator and a Justice of the Peace. In 2004 Claudine was awarded The RIRDC Queensland Rural Woman's Award. Claudine and her husband Garry have been training professional fishermen and women in Karumba for the last 20 years. Claudine, along with her husband Garry, have been professional fisherpersons on the east coast of Queensland and the Gulf of Carpentaria for 35 years.
